“ Stopped here by chance once after a visit to the area. Very glad we did. We go back often and it never disappoints. A fabulous traditional chippy. The chips were lovely, not greasy and obviously made from quality potatoes. The portions were very good value . The cod was covered in a thick crispy batter and the fish itself was nice and white and flaky. Again no grease at all. The sausage in batter was a nice tasting sausage of good quality covered in a thick crispy batter. The food was cooked to order so nice and fresh and hot. Had time to talk to the owner who is very friendly. He obviously cares about his customers and the quality of his food. Would recommend this business to anyone. ”
